Paramount to distribute Marvel’s next 5 films
Big news for Paramount Pictures.
Both Paramount Studio's and Marvel Studios have signed an agreement that will allow Paramount to distribute Marvels slate over the next couple of years. "The highly anticipated live action releases include Iron Man 2 (May 7, 2010), Thor (July 16, 2010), The First Avenger: Captain America (May 6, 2011), and The Avengers (July 16, 2011). The distribution agreement also includes Iron Man 3," ComingSoon.net tells us.
There isn't anyword on the future of The Incredible Hulk. Iron Man will be released on DVD today.
Obviously this is a big deal for Paramount and if the upcoming slate of films performs anything like Iron Man has, they'll be rolling in the cash.
