Is Eva Longoria an Avenger?
There hasn't been all that much news on the Marvel front with their upcoming films but over the weekend a couple of photos surfaced that many people became interested by. You can view the set at Flawed Hollywood.
Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria was spotted at Marvel Studios with a couple of comic books and a buisness card. The comic books are The Avengers, the big super hero team up movie everybody is pumped for. The LA Times say that she might be looking for the role of The Wasp. "The first thought is that she wants to be Janet Van Dyne, the winsome Wasp, a founding member of the Marvel super team and eventual wife of Hank Pym, the Ant-Man."
I'll be honest... I've never heard of the Wasp. Because of that I really can't make any kind of judgment on Longoria playing the role so all I can basically say is... cool! If she thinks she can take on the role of a superhero, best of luck to her.
That is if all of this is true.

You don’t have to know the character of the Wasp to know that Eva Longoria can’t really act. Hoping she doesn’t get to touch this one.
Agreed. I don’t think she is the right actress for a superhero character. But who knows?
My personal choice is an asian actress because I like the Wasp from the Ultimates much more.
