I became a Summer Glau fan after watching episodes of Firefly. I’ve since downloaded the series (the only one) and I watch it as often as possible. I’m not a star chaser and have never had this kind of interest in actors ever, but there is something different about Summer. She’s refreshing as an actor but there’s an innocence about her that have you believing that she’s never done anything in front of people before. There is just a natural quality about her. When I see her in other roles I feel nervous that she’s not going to be good but she always is. For those reasons she’s my favorite actress. My favorite line of hers (and there were many) was in Serenity, when being chased by the Reavers, they returned to the ship and everyone was flustered being so close to being killed and worse and River says “I think I swallowed a bug”. I laugh every time I think of that line. Thank you Summer and thank you Josh Whedon for bringing out talent in all who perform for you. Here’s hoping that they never kill Summer off in “Terminator”.
Great message Nat! I’m more worried about FOX killing Terminator than the exec producers writing her off. They know that would be stupid anyways. They know that they’ll be riots if Summer was killed off. But the ratings always worry me that FOX will cancel the show.
