I’m probably part of the minority but I liked Ghost Rider starring Nicolas Cage.  It’s not a great movie at all, but I thought it turned out cool and it entertained me, but a lot of people just down right thought it sucked.

In any case, Nicolas Cage revealed that Ghost Rider 2 is more than likely going ahead.  From ComingSoon.net, “Yes, actually, had a nice meeting with the studio about 3-months ago, and we talked about going international with that character.   Taking him into Europe, having him go on a motorcycle tour through Europe, and he’s connected with the church, if you can believe that.  So it sort of has elements to it that are very much in the zeitgeist, with ‘The Da Vinci Code’ and things like that,” says Cage.

I don’t know why it would be taking place in Europe but I guess it’s just an excuse to go abroad and I’m not against it, I just don’t get it.  Besides that I’m cool with it and I wouldn’t mind seeing a Ghost Rider 2 but the filmmakers really need to come up with something totally cool and crazy for it to make up for the last film.  Sure I liked it, but my $10 isn’t going to help the studio; it’s all of the other movie goers they need to convince.
