Batman 3 Rumors
Before I post up the rumor I should let you know that I haven't been posting a lot of the stuff coming out about a third Batman film because ALL of it is bullshit. To put it simply, there isn't any movement to a Dark Knight sequel, just yet at least. So everything that comes out is basically untrue and should just be considered rumors.
All of that said, io9.com points out a report on a possible out-line for Batman 3 which sets up a 4th film. The reason why I'm posting it is because I'm interested in what everyone thinks another Batman film should be about. If this source is correct or just full of crap, who knows, but the theme of Batman 3 would be "redemption" and there isn't a reason why it would be a bad place to go. Again, this report is probably bull but in any case, what do you think? Where would you go with a third film?

I have some inside information from Warner bros. about the upcoming third batman film which is slated for release across cinemas in 2012.
Now this may or may not be true as of yet bearing in mind this is early days, but this is what they have been talking about. It’s early days and so this is just an initial story outline/plot for the third batman movie according too people from warner bros. Now this is inside information and so this is what I have learnt.
They just need Chris Nolan/David Goyer and jonhathan to sit down and work on the script in a few months time when they are finished with their other film projects.[Warner brothers are very keen for a fourth installment of the batman franchise. They have seen the success of the spiderman films and so want to repeat this with the batman franchise and if all goes according to plan and batman does well again, then there will of course be a fourth batman film with Warner bros. being VERY keen]
This is the rough draft/outline for the third batman film. There is no title yet:
The characters:
Talia al ghul - she will be interlinked with bruce wayne [being a love interest] as well linked with the mob.
Saying this, there will be a gang walfare across Gotham City stretching out into other neighbouring cities. Since the dissappearance of batman, Gotham city has been torn apart and there is a rise in the number of gangs and criminals etc… this keeps with the story of the long halloween/the dark victory comic books of gang wars.
This will make way for batman to comeback and show the people of gotham city that he is a hero to them all and that gotham can be saved and they will change their perceptions on batman. The story has not been thought out so this is just a rough character and story outline which has been talked about by warner bros.The Penguin will be mentioned several times however the penguin will NOT be seen in the third movie. There is a strong connection with one of the mob and the penguin. However, the penguin will be just referred to as ‘oswald’ or ‘oswald cobblepot’ and not ‘the penguin’. Like I said, he will be linked to one of the mob but will not feature as a villain in the third film.
Talia is linked to Bruce Wayne as well as having a connection to the mob and this may be linked with getting revenge on batman who allegedly killed her father - Rhas Al Ghul.
I’m not sure if any of you were aware of this but the Black Mask was actually written in the script of the dark knight however the black mask was later written out for some reason but now the written out scripts of his character will now feature in the third film.
The black mask will feature - The Black Mask being related to the mob. He will be a big criminal of the underworld. A big mobster.Now The Black Mask will be a SIDE VILLAIN. AN ORDINARY CRIMINAL of the underworld who is in a gang war. He is in charge.
Now comes the big part…. The Riddler will feature albeit briefly.
There will be one major villain and a side villain to keep in line with the dark knight.
The Riddler
Black Mask - he will be an ordinary criminal with connections to the criminal underworld/mobthe penguin - ‘Oswald’ being mentioned but will not feature.
Talia al Ghul - interlinked with Bruce Wayne and the mob.
According to the next film, Twoface IS dead, the joker is in arkham asylum but we do not see the joker however the joker will be mentioned several times.
Previous themes being fear. escalation etc..
The theme for batman 3 is ‘REDEMPTION’Warner bros. are keen for a fourth and possibly FINAL film as I have said and they are keen for the joker to return!!! This will pleasantly round off the franchise and would be an exciting and great end for batman.
They are also keen in including Harley Quinn and the return of The Scarecrow as there could be a break out as arkham and the scarecrow might possibly feature in the fourth.
Other villains maybe catwoman, the penguin and mad hatter.
but this cannot be true until the script of batman three has been written.Now this is early days and this is what has been going around from Warner bros.
You can choose to believe it or chose not too, it’s up to you but like I said I have inside information about the next film and this is what I have 100% learnt from within the studio. !If it’s true it’s going to be one hell of a batman film!
The Riddler, Talia Al Ghul, Black Mask and references to the penguin and the joker all but a few.. Bear in mind we will NOT see the penguin or the joker in the third movie.

Catwoman’s storyline for Batman 3
Well first off, it is only rational to assume that the Nolan Batman movies should continue on Batman’s crusuade against crime. Cher as Catwoman sounds somewhat interesting, but out of the norm from previous protrays of the feline villianess. Catwoman is always portrayed as a woman in her prime; youthful; extremely beautiful; witty; resourceful; cunning; fierce; calculating; and somewhat dangerous; however, Catwoman’s psychology never comes off being “evil” or psychopathic unlike the Joker or Penguin’s mentality.
As always Catwoman should have a separate story of her own which intertwines into Batman’s world. Selina Kyle for the next Batman installment should be played by an ambitious and yet attractive woman ready to take the world out her hands. Angelina Jolie is a perfect Catwoman because she plays in movies where she is good and bad. That’s the same path that Catwoman plays. She should, at first, be a timid and yet emotionally-beaten woman as all the other Catwomans have been portrayed before their transformation of Catwoman.
Let’s face it Catwoman is not a drastically evil character in Batman’s university. You can’t have her seek world domination because she is out to correct the injustice just like Batman; however, her form of justice and Batman’s is extremely different and makes an interesting blend for Batman to have to go toe-to-toe with on a few occassions. Catwoman is already dead, but a person that is given another life to create whatever world she sees fit. Selina Kyle should be an abused secretary working for Wayne Enterprises. She is referred to as the “nerdy secretary” since everyone treats her as if she were something less of a person. She is humiliated, teased, bullied, and finds herself apologizing for everyone and herself.
Gotham should be under gang organized crime since Batman has disappeared hoping that Gotham doesn’t need Batman. Let’s say that Selina Kyle is walking in a dark and ominious environment preferrably an alley and is attacked by a gang. During the struggle, she is killed. In what way? Catwoman always either drowns or falls to her death before being revived by mystical cats. Let’s say that with Selina Kyle’s apparent death brings Batman to the state that Gotham still does need him.
After Selina is either push to her death or drowns, a group of mystical cats revive her by bitting her until she awakens. She awakens with cat-like eyes, crawls on fours and meows like a cat. The next day she awakens in her apartment confused and disoriented.
In the beginning stages of being Catwoman, she is a cunning jewel-theft who manages to get away without going toe-to-toe with Batman. Gotham police have no choice but to blame the gang-related crimes for the countless burgleries committed in Catwoman’s name. Batman decides to investigate the matter furtherer and there he has his first meet with the cat burglar. They have a brief duel; however, Catwoman comes out superior and gets away.
Later on Catwoman’s mission was to save a rare breed of wild felines close to extinction. She seeks Edward Nigma, A.K.A. The Riddler to aid her on her quest to save a wild breed of rare cats. She is betrayed for Riddler only used her to get to Batman and seek havoc on Gotham. Catwoman is forced to join forces with Batman to stop the Riddler once and for all.
The Riddler’s role in Batman 3
Edward Nigma is betrayed as a villian genius of riddles and puzzles. He is also an obsessive, potentially psychopathic mad man set to harm Gotham. As Riddler’s aim in Batman Forever was to extract the thoughts and intelligence of man, but this time Riddler’s aim should be complete destruction and havoc on Gotham ( basically another Joker haunting Gotham ). Riddler should also be connected with the gang violence that raids Gotham. In completing his destructive malice, he should leave riddles for Batman to solve in order to get closer to stop his raid of terror. In the midst, he promises to help Catwoman in aiding her on saving a rare breed of felines, but betrays her when he realizes Batman is in on him.
The Penguin’s role in Batman 3
Penguin’s role in Batman should be somewhat minimum since Riddler just alone is enough of a hassle for Batman to toggle with. He should be known simply as “Oswald Cobblepot”. He and Riddler should have criminal relations with one another which eventually would lead to Penguin’s death or imprisonment. I personally think that Joker should return since Joker is a villian everyone would love to see get killed off the Batman script since he so incredibly insane and out of control to keep around.
