Helena Bonham Carter Stops Film Terminator Because Of Family Tragedy
Those of you who haven't heard, Helena Bonham Carter has a role in Terminator Salvation but nobody knows what role that is, at least I don't. Carter has currently been filming in Albuquerque, New Mexico but had to stop to head back to England because of a family tragedy.
According to Pr-Inside.com, "Banham Carter's relatives were on a safari holiday in the country when a minibus they were travelling in on Wednesday (20Aug08) spun out of control and flipped over after a tire burst." Of the deaths in her family the site says, "The actress' cousin Fiona Bonham Carter, 51, escaped with a broken shoulder. But Fiona's son Marcus Egerton-Warburton, 14, her mother Brenda, 74, and stepfather Francis Kirkwood, 75, all died."
Obviously this is a disaster for Carter and words can't express my feelings for her loss, it's terrible and I'm sorry for her troubles. Carter has been "granted indefinite leave from the set of Terminator Salvation," and that's awesome of the studio to just let her go instead of saying something stupid like, take a week. There is plenty of time before the Terminator premiere so she'll be able to take as long as she need. Feel better Helena.
