JJ Abrams To Cause An Earthquake
The director of Star Trek and creator of Lost, Alias and now Fringe has been picked up by Universal to produce Earthquake. Earthquake was a 1974 film that starred Charlton Heston however Variety says that this new film is not intended to be a remake of the original.
Abrams will be producing with Bryan Burk and Sherryl Clark from his Bad Robot company. David Seltzer will pen the script.
There isn't whole lot I can add to this except... another disaster pic, wow. The only difference is that it might be good since Abrams is involved. I could be wrong and this film could stink but Abrams has been on a streak of cool movies and TV shows.
