Kevin Costner Might Revive The Bodyguard

Here is a movie that I never considered would get a sequel, it never once crossed my mind but it seems to have crossed Kevin Costner's mind.

An actor who has never made a sequel to any of his films admits that "he would love to reprise his role as the former Secret Service agent" Frank Farmer.  He tells the NY Daily News, "'Bodyguard' could have had one," Costner is refering to a sequel.  When asked if a sequel would reunite his character and the character that Whitney Houston played in the 1992 flick Costner said, "No, I think he was true to his word he didn't want to guard celebrities anymore."

I have to say that I always liked The Bodyguard.  Sure I was only 10 years old when the film came out but Kevin Costner was always an actor that I liked and The Bodyguard is one of those films that made me like some of his work.  Sometimes I feel like people give Costner a bad rap but he's done some stuff that I liked, for example Dances with Wolves, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Field of Dreams, JFK and even Wyatt Earp although I thought Tombstone was a better picture.

I'm totally open to another Bodyguard film but I hope that it isn't made to be commercial and it stays true to form.  All that said, I doubt another film will be made, so that's that.
