Doom 2?
I don't believe this news at all. Todd Hollenshead, the CEO of id Software wants another DOOM film.
"We'll see what happens when we get further along in development of the (the Doom) game and there's more buzz and we share more about what the game will be about," coming from Kotaku.com.
Bottom line, there will not be another Doom movie that takes place in the same universe as the last film. The only way we'll see another is if it is a direct to DVD or a complete remake of the original in a big budget way, but I don't think there is an audience for it. I know there is a lot of gamers out there that like the Doom franchise but when it comes to the overall general movie going audience, I don't think it has a chance of making money.
