Rhona Mitra: Underworld 3 Rise of the Lycans Stills
I'm automatically liking this movie and giving it a good review; Rhona Mitra is so hot. Rhona is playing Sonja the daughter of Viktor played by Bill Nighy. Those of you who have seen the Underworld films know that Sonja was in love with the Lycan leader Lucian and because of that Viktor eventually kills her. Then he found Selene played by Kate Beckinsale and took her as his daughter. You can see the resemblance below. Mind you this isn't the synopsis of Underworld 3.

Thanks for being the Middle Man for hotties, searching so we don’t have too.
Watched the unrated version of Doomsday, Rhona was quite the badass in the flick. Was hoping for a bigger, longer, uncut fight between her and the lady with the face tats.
I haven’t seen Doomsday yet, but I plan to.
I’m not sure, but I thought Sonja was a blonde in the first movie. Not that it really matters. I’m hoping this movie will be as fun as the others.
Sonja was blonde in the first movie, which made it even weirder that they kept saying that Selene and Sonja were “So Very Alike ™”. They weren’t in the first movie, and that’s something the new director said at Comic-Con, was that they’ve changed the female, they’ve changed the room she burned to death in, etc etc. There was just no way to perfectly match it all up, which is fine.
I just got the unrated version of Doomsday on BD, and I think it’s a shame the theatrical version isn’t on BD - I don’t like gore. I think it’s a pointless addition that people only watch who are just a wee bit dangerous-in-the-head. I’ve met too many people who like gore and creep me out just a little too much. The Theatrical version was *PERFECT* for me - it showed just enough nasty violence, then cut away before it became exploitative. I’m not looking forward to the BD as much.
Nonetheless, that was a fun movie, gore or not, and well-made for what it was. Rhona is a badass and beautiful to boot, and has long been one of my favorite actresses. I miss her in Boston Legal.
the only thing i can remember her in is The Number 23 with Jim Carrey, good for her getting a lead role

Even though selene will not be in the film I think they should have her at the end of the film in a cameo role. If you pay attention closely, the reason selene’s family were killed was when Lucien escaped after Sonia’s death with her necklace that had the key on it, Viktor fearing that Lucien would try to find the location of William’s prison killed selene’s family but could not bear to kill selene as she reminded him of his daughter Sonia. Now if we look back the key was made for Williams prison when selene was a young girl. Lucien’s escape happened sometime after the key was made by Selene’s father. Viktor gave one of the 2 keys to his daughter that Lucien took after her death as a keepsake not knowing what is really was. After Lucien’s escape Viktor killed Selene’s family then turned her later that night (now full grown selene) into a vampire. So the story line according to the movies fall in the timeline when selene was eventually born and depending on how much time passed from Lucien’s escape till Viktor killed her father (responsible for building Williams prison) and family is unknown to me. But if it were a short enough period from Lucien’s escape and everything would certainly point to it being that way as Lucien took Sonia’s necklace with the key on it as a keepsake, and Viktor would fear William being released then Selene would definitely be able to be in the movie during this time period. In my opinion as a cameo appearance as the story most definitely does not revolve around her. I am anxious to see this movie being a period piece with or without selene but again I think it would have been better all around to add her in that way as to better tie the movie’s together. We don’t know where the movie will end off. Maybe just Lucien escaping after Sonia’s death maybe not. But I think if Sonia is the main star we will not see to much after her death. So most likely it will end with her death and Lucian’s escape. But it would be cool to see selene in the last 5 minutes of the movie being turned into a vampire.
