SciFi Orders Two More Scripts For Caprica

Caprica

News that isn't surprising to me is the SciFi Channel orders another two scripts for the Battlestar Galactica prequel.  According to The Chicago Tribune, "In addition to Ron Moore, executive producer of 'Battlestar' and 'Caprica,' those at work on the additional scripts include for 'Battlestar' writers Michael Angeli and Mark Verheiden and former 'Battlestar'  writers assistant Ryan Mottesheard."

Also the filming on the prequel backdoor pilot for Caprica has wrapped.  Caprica as of now hasn't been picked up for series but the order for more scripts, even if it's just two, is a good sign for the series.

Like most Battlestar fans, I'm very excited to see Caprica.  Unfortunately there has been no official word if Caprica is going to air this fall or in 2009.  If I had to guess, I'd say Caprica will get aired this fall to hold us over until the final 10 episodes are released in 2009.
