I'm sure this is going to be one of those films that never gets off the ground.  Probably the last movie that Brigitte Nielsen was in where she was all natural is going to get remade.  Pictured to the right you see Nielsen as Red Sonja.

The news coming from USA Today is that Robert Rodriguez and the love of his life will bring Red Sonja back to life with Rodriguez producing and McGowan as Sonja with Douglas Aarniokoski directing. 

McGowan says upon being offered the roled, "When they first came to me with it, I though it was funny," say's the actress, 34. "I do have a body made for sitting on a veranda with mint juleps and a parasol.  I don't know why I always have to save the planet."

Hey whatever, I guess I'm cool with this.  I just don't believe it's going to happen.  McGowan is hot and has a great body... that has nothing to do with this story I'd just thought I'd mention it.
