Christopher Judge Talks StarGate Continuum

Christopher JudgeIn just a little more then a month Stargate Continuum hits DVD shelves as the second direct to DVD feature in the Stargate Universe.  After 10 years of series work and two films, star Christopher Judge is still excited as ever when it comes to playing Teal'c, the Jaffa Warrior.  Judge talks with SciFi TV Australia on the feature Stargate Continuum as well as a huge range of other subjects.

In Continuum, Judge returns to playing a First Prime to a evil System Lord; Ba'al.  Since Continuum is an event of time travel, SciFi TV asked Judge about going back to a "bad guy".  "Well the perception of Teal'c before SG-1 entered the scene was that he was a bad guy, but he had been talking to Bra'tac for years (about rebelling against the evil Goa'uld), but he had to keep the facade of the status quo in order to have these back room machinations going on," Judge continues, "so in Continuum it was much the same thing - only Teal'c aligned himself with Ba'al, because Ba'al offered him a chance to free his people.  So it's still the same endgame, just a different route to get there."  Judge also expressed excitement after a screening of the film saying that it "...could have been a huge feature film."

Along with other Stargate stuff, Judge talks about a huge variety of subjects.  Did you know he almost got fired during the first few seasons of SG-1!  I've never met Judge in person at a Con before but I've see plenty of videos and audio interviews with him and the guy is hysterical.  A lot of actors have some similarities with the characters they play but Christopher Judge is the furthest thing from Teal'c.  I'm glad to see that the actors from Stargate are moving on to other things like Amanda Tapping and Sanctuary and Judge's new show Rage of Angels.  This is a really great interview and I suggest you read it, head over HERE! for it.

To see Judge talk about Stargate at a Con, watch below in a video that took place recently in Australia.  Unfortunately the crowd sucks and they sound dead.  To see the rest of the videos from the Q&A  head to the youtube users account.  This video has nothing to do with the article, content wise, so don't get confused.  They're two different Q&A's.
