This is some very interesting news.  Marvel's Captain America is in the very early stages at the moment but according to The Latino Review Marvel is tossing a couple of names around for the title role and those names are apparently Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt.  Latino Review goes on to say and makes it very clear that, "no offers have been officially made! Nobody has been cast yet! DiCaprio is probably clueless at this point!"  Brad Pitt's name has also been throwin around for another Marvel film, Thor.  So it appears that Marvel wants Pitt for either or. 

I don't see DiCaprio as Captain America at all and I really don't care that he's a fantastic actor.  Just because he can act doesn't mean he can fit a role and the role of Steve Rogers just isn't him.  That isn't a knock on DiCaprio at all because he's done tremendous work in the past and I'm sure he will in the future but I personally don't see him as Captain America.  Brad Pitt on the other hand would fit a lot better.  I really see him in that role more then DiCaprio plus Pitt has a better build.  Truth be told, I don't think either actor would be right for the part.  Some people might call me insane but I was actually a fan of the Matthew McConaughey idea.
