If you've been oblivious to the world you'll know that not to long ago China suffured an Earthquake that was so terrible it claimed more lives then I'd like to mention.  Soon after actress Sharon Stone made a really stupid comment that literally pissed off the entire country of China when asked if she's heard about the disaster, "Of course I have. You know it was very interesting, becuase at first, you know, I wasn't very happy about the way the Chinese are treating Tibetans because I don't think anyone should be unkind to anyone else."  Stone went on to say, "And I've been concerned about how should we deal with the Olympics because they've not been nice to the Dalai Lama, who is a good friend of mine. And all this earthquake stuff happened and I thought: 'Is that karma? When you are not nice the bad things happen to you.''

In respones to her action, Sharon Stone is basically becoming a banned name throughout the country.  Stone has been dropped by Christian Dior beauty products, The Shanghai International Film Festival banned Stone and her films permanently, Chinese actors Zhang Ziyi (HOT!!) and Samo Hung along with theater chains and entertainment threatened to boycott Stone all together, and she lost her role in a new film called Mermaid Island.

According to Moviehole.net Mermaid Island is a joint US and Chinese production with a $50 million dollar budget directed by Pitof, the director of Catwoman... that's not a good sign for this film.  "Produced by Irvin Kirshner, 'Mermaid Island' is set in the Ocean with four races, humans, mermaids, some beastie and mythical creatures, not always living together peacefully.  The central plot revolves around a young man and a mermaid."  On the very top of this post is the poster for the film and I have to say it looks really cool but the movie is probably going to suck.

However! The movie might suck but there is one thing that will make it 100% watchable and that is because of the extremely sexy MILF, Monica Bellucci.  Bellucci (The Matrix films, Shoot Em Up) plays the Mermaid Queen and you can see a crazy hot photo of her below.
