AFTRA Makes Tentative Agreement With AMPTP

AFTRAOn the contract negotiation front, The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) has made a tentative agreement with The Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP).

You can read the entire agreement at ComingSoon.net.

I'm don't know everything about the industry so a lot of this is hard for me to understand.  What I do know is that this is a good thing!  Hopefully the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) will shortly be behind AFTRA with their own agreement.  If SAG doesn't come up with a new agreement expect another strike at the end of June.  This however might give SAG the push to get things done.

I'm hopefull that they'll be no strike.
