Witchblade Teaser Poster & Website

Witchblade

I've never seen the Witchblade TV series or read the comics but this poster is awesome.  I've always thought that fantasy art was really cool and this definitly falls into the category as awesome.  A couple of weeks ago it was announced that Witchblade is planned to come onto the big screen and with the release of this poster it looks like it's really going to happen.

Also a new website is up and running for the film but there is nothing on it yet.  Take a look at www.WitchBlade2009.com.

For a larger photo head over to Comingsoon.net.

No idea if you pay attention to these things, but if you haven’t seen or read Witchblade, the TV show’s first season was one of the best-made modern-fantasy tales ever crafted, minus the original Highlander. It’s coming out on DVD this July ( http://www.amazon.com/Witchblade-Complete-Yancy-Butler/dp/B00170LCWC/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1212003407&sr=8-1 ) if you’re interested in watching it, though I’m sure the movie will be a fresh point of view on everything, and probably be more comic-ish than tvshow-ish, it was one of the best TV shows ever to grace my screen, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.

Thanks Soran! I’ll keep that in mind. I’ll gladly watch the TV series.
