Those of you that have been paying attention, will know that the sequel to Matthew Broderick 1983 film, WarGames is on the way.  WarGame: The Dead Code, will be hitting DVD stands July 29th and CinemaBlend has the DVD details.  On the same day, MGM is releasing the 25th Anniversary Edition of  Broderick’s WarGames.

It’s going to be funny to see people buying more copies of the orginial WarGames because it’s basically a sure thing that The Dead Code is going to be really terrible.  Part of me wants to see The Dead Code out of curiosity but I don’t expect this to be any good at all.

I would however like to buy the 25th Anniversary Edition of WarGames.  That was actually on television maybe a week ago.  I watched most of it and I was kinda annoyed that I didn’t get to finish it but I’ve seen it so many times anyways, it’s not a big deal.
