The comicbook franchise of WitchBlade is getting a feature lenth live action film adaption according to Variety.  Platinum Studios, Top Cow Prods. and Arclight Films are teaming up of the film.

ComingSoon.net reports that Lionsgate has picked up the domestic distrbution rights for Oliver Stone’s George W. Bush biopic called W.  W stars Josh Brolin and Elizabeth Banks.

From a Polish movie site, Forbidden Planet, MovieHole.net informs us that Mariusz ‘Pudzian’ Pudzianowski is one of the final two candidates to play the role of a Terminator in McG’s Terminator film starring Christian Bale. This guy is massive.

io9.com reports that the idiots who made the Scary Movie flicks are making a new one… Sci Fi Movie.  These bad spoof movies need to stop.

Variety says that V for Vendetta director, James McTeigue, will be directing a new thriller called Revelation.  “Story centers on a female journalist who is assigned to investigate a series of bizarre murders…”

Because of the WGA Strike ABC poplar TV show Lost, lost out on some episodes for the year.  In return, for the final two seasons of Lost, its been extended by 1 episode each, coming out to 2 more hours. From THR

The people from LatinoReview updates us on the statues of The A Team and Thor.  Rumor has it that Bruce Willis is being looked at to play Hannibal for The A Team and Brad Pitt is being looked at to play Thor.

Since Steven Spielberg is done with Indiana Jones 4, it’s time to move on to other projects.  ComingSoon tells us that he’ll start work on the Abraham Lincoln biopic starring Liam Neeson in early 2009 but before that, his task is to complete Tintin.

Networks have picked up their new TV shows, including another JJ Abrams show called Fringe and Virtuality written by Battlestar’s Ron Moore both for Fox.  Virtuality is being directed by Peter Berg who is also exec producer.  This guy is working a lot lately.  From Variety.
