For months now there have been rumors on a Metal Gear Solid movie.  I haven’t been all that interested in those stories to be honest because the person who was rumored for a long time to direct is Uwe Boll.  You know him, he’s one of the worst directors of all time.

However today, from Moviehole.net a new name has showen up but it’s again just a rumor.  Paul Thomas Anderson, director of There Will Be Blood is rumored to be interested.  If it’s true, I think everyone would be happy given the fact that There Will Be Blood was such a popular movie and the fact that anything is better then Uwe Boll.

All that said, I don’t think it’s going to happen so it really doesn’t matter.
