Bruce Boxleitner Joins The Cast Of Heroes!
In big genre news, fan favorite and star of the loved science fiction series Babylon 5, Bruce Boxleitner can be seen yet again on another smash hit television show, Heroes.
TV Guide reports that Bruce Boxleitner will be joining Heroes in a recurring role that as of now, nothing is known about except that the role was “originally going to be modeled after Sen. John McCain. The character has since been reconceived, and now all [Ausiello] know for sure is that he’ll be sharing scenes with a female series regular.” Who that female series regular is, who knows. It could be Ali Larter’s character even though it looks like she was killed at the end of the season. It could also be Hayden Panettiere’s character.
What ever Boxleitner plays, all I want is him to play it John Sheridanish. Sure its type casting, but no one could do it better. I can’t tell you how cool I think this is. My hope is that they don’t waste Boxleitner’s character because he would bring a great presence to the small screen.
How cool would it be if he really was John Sheridan in Heroes? Lol, yea thats too much.

I do love heroes as a program, however at the end of the 2nd series i was losing interest. Heroes had some very good recurring guest stars but did very little with them. Some were killed before they even did anything worth them being in the show. I hope Bruce Boxleitner has something to do and not just being a named guest star to get people to watch.
I also hope Ali Larter’s character did survive.
