During the last week of April a report came out that Gran Torino was in fact not a Dirty Harry movie.  This news came as a HUGE disappointment to me because I would love to see Clint Eastwood as Harry Callahan again.  Even though Gran Torino is said not to be Dirty Harry, the rumors will not stop that a new movie is on the way.

The Sun put up a small post that simply says that Clint Eastwood will kill off Callahan.

Clint, 77, will bring gun-toting inspector Harry Callahan out of retirement for a new film.  

An insider said: “Clint will make sure Dirty Harry goes out in style.”

What that means no one can really say.  It could be a simple idiot running their mouth.  Besides, you can’t kill off Harry Callahan…  He’s too much of a bad ass to get killed.  He’s probably got the highest Cop movie body count ever, lol.

My opinion on another Dirty Harry movie is extremely simple.  I’d love to see a new movie and I hope its as serious in tone as the first film.
