Caprica, the TV movie headed for the Sci Fi Channel is the prequel to the events of Battlestar Galactica.  Set before the first Cylon War and the creation of the Cylon race, Caprica gets its first cast member.

Paula Malcolmson (Deadwood) has been cast as Amanda Greystone.  Greystone is a "surgeon who goes to extraordinary lengths to help her husband revive her dead 16 year old daughter via robotics." The daughter, Zoe Graystone, has her likeness and personality used to create the very first Cylon.  Maybe this means that Zoe Greystone is the 5th Cylon of the final 5.  Who knows.

I'm very excited to see Caprica.  They say its going to be more of a soap opera then like Battlestar, but thats ok.  I'm still excited to see it.  I'm hoping that its going to turn out to be something special.  Seeing first hand on the Cylon creation would be something really cool to watch.
