During the past week, I’ve been posting up some of the most classic entertainment from Dean Martin and Johnny Carson. That will continue for the next seveal days.
In this video below, is the famed Rat Pack, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. and Frank Sinatra singing Birth of the Blues with Johnny Carson. Totally CLASSIC!
Its just amazing watching it, I could only imagine what it was like actually being. Just look how the crowd reacts to there performance. Standing ovation!
And of course its funny especially Dean Martin. Have fun with this one.

Phil,
Thanks for remembering the great Carson and Martin. I have the full St. Louis concert — never
commercially released. As you may know, Carsonwas a last minute fill in for Joey Bishop, who had to bow out due to a back injury.
This video is only one of two times Carson ever sang — the other is from The Tonight Show when he did the ill advised “Rhinestone Cowboy” number.
