Its pretty good news for Sarah Connor Chronicle fans that this show has been picked up for a second season, I know that I'm one of those fans.  I'm glad that I was convinced its a improving show and I'm going to stick with it.

Josh Friedman, executive producer, has spoken with news outlets about the upcoming second season.  As for right now, 13 episodes has been ordered but its unclear when those episodes will air.

To sum up what Friedman had to say about season two...

• Brian Austin Green is now a series regular
• More action in season 2 then in season one
• John Connor starts becoming a man and needing his mother less more and more (he's becoming Christian Bale for T4)
• Agent Ellison is becoming a believer (if you couldn't tell from the season finale
• Sarah's ex will be back
• More Future War episodes are likely depending on budget costs
• The high school suicide story will NOT be re addressed even though Friedman loved that part of the story
• Michael Biehn will not come back as Kyle Reese (BULL SHIT!! thats not cool beans)

To start off, when I first heard that Brian Austin Green was going to show up in TSCC, I rolled my eyes and said that his addition was going to be stupid and usless...  I was wrong, because I took to his character right off the bat.  Its probably the fact that his last name is Reese and that means Michael Biehn, the macho in macho actors.  So as for Green, I'm really glad that he's now a season regular because in all honesty, his addition really improved the series drama aspect.  He's also sleeping with Megan Fox (Transformers) and thats sayin something.

As for everything else I'm glad to hear all of it.  The only thing that is sad is the high school suicide stuff is out.  That story line was turning out to be something really interesting and its unfortunate that its not going to be followed up at least for now.

The best thing overall is that Summer Glau has gotten a second season!  Which means more overall hotness.  Of course Lena Headey brings that milf status as well.
