Terminator: TSCC Ratings

Terminator

I really don't know what to make of this.  Some websites say that the ratings were strong, others say Terminator is doomed.  Variety on the other hand just gives us the facts.  Take a look:

Fox’s two-hour finale of “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” averaged a 3.2/8 in 18-49 and 8.02 million viewers overall. Although the sci-fi skein cooled off after a solid start on Mondays, its 18-49 average is about as big as that for any other first-year drama this season.

So there you have it.  Will TSCC get a second season.  FOX is probably going over that right now.  I think that it should personally and I'm confident that it will.  For starters, Terminator is getting better and better, episode after episode.  Granted it doesn't get numbers like Lost and Heroes does, but the numbers are not bad. People are watching Terminator.  Still its a tough call because compaired to other shows, a little over 8 million isn't that great.  Even Enterprise had the same numbers and look what happen to that.  That said the ages between 18 and 49 is the core audience and that will play into a big factor.

All that said, we won't know for another month or two I think.  Hopefully word will come out sooner then later.  I'd like to see the writers get back to work on the show so they can have enough of time to produce good episodes.  At least if Terminator comes back, it will actually be able to complete a full season instead of just a couple of episodes.... thats if SAG doesn't go on strike.
