He may have left lost, but his career is going just fine.  Just Jared has an exclusive source that informed them that Lost star, Lord Of The Ring star has just got the role of Barnell Bohusk or Blackwing in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

According to Wiki, Barnell’s body changes into that of a humanoid-bird form, with a beaked face, bulbous eyes, wing-like arms that give him the ability to fly (albeit clumsily), talons on his hands and feet, and double-jointed knees. In mutant form, Beak also possesses heightened agility, and he may possess heightened senses and a lighter skeletal structure like the avian X-Man formerly known as the Angel (Ben Foster played this character in X3).

Wolverine is really turning out to be a mutant fest.  From the sounds of it, Wolverine is going to cross paths with more mutants then he did in the X-Men films.  I'm seriously excited to see this, as I'm sure everybody is.  Everyone wants to see a stand alone film with their favorite mutant Wolverine. 

As for Monaghan being casted, he's obviously a good actor, so this is a great add to the film and a smart career choice for him.  I'm just curious if Ellen Page would ever come back to X-Men 4 (if another) now with her famed success with Juno.
