Lost Boys 2 Writer Talks About Corey Haim
Moviehole, has lucky enough to talk with the Lost Boys 2 writer, Hans Rodionoff. Rodionoff discuss quickly about Corey Haim's sudden return. Lost Boys 2 has wrapped up shooting without Haim, but now they'll be going back to shoot for Haim.
“Sam Emerson was in the earliest drafts of the screenplay, and when it looked like we weren't going to be able to cast Corey Haim, I begrudgingly took the scenes out and wrote around the holes. Recently, I got a call that said that Corey would be able to do the scenes, and Warner Bros. was happy enough with the movie that they felt like spending a little extra to work Sam Emerson into the movie would be money well spent. So, I dug back into my old files and found the deleted scenes with Sam Emerson and sent them to PJ. I really feel like Sam Emerson is a crucial part of the Lost Boys legacy, and I'm glad that his scenes will end up in the film.”
I'm really liking the fact that Warner Bros like Lost Boys 2 so much that they are willing to actually put more money into the film and let them shoot some more for the addition of Corey Haim. Thats big stuff. Warners Bros. doesn't do those kind of this very lightly. They didn't even do it for Babylon 5... And Babylon 5 is in fact way more popular then The Lost Boys.
So I'm glad Haim is going to be in this. The fact that the WB is being so willing is giving me high hopes that this movie is actually good and not total crap.
