Heroes and Veronica Mars star, Kristen Bell is set to lead in a new romantic comedy, When In Rome, according to Variety.  Principle photography begins March 31st in New York and Rome.  When In Rome is written and directed by Mark Steven Johnson.

Bell will play a successful real estate agent in Gotham who can't find a lasting relationship. When her younger sister impulsively marries in Rome, she flies out for the wedding and, after picking up coins from a reputed "fountain of love," finds an overabundance of suitors waiting for her back home.

I never really noticed Kristen Bell until she ended up on Heroes and since that time, I started looking out for more of the things shes been up to and so forth.  I think shes a capable actress, and I really like her on Heroes.  Her character in fact is one of 3 new cast members that I actually enjoyed watching.

I don't mind the occasional rom-com, but most of them are usually crap.  This move sounds interesting, but I'm sure its going to be predictable just like the rest of these type of movies.  Still, I'll keep an eye out for it, since I like Bell.  Shes also starring in upcoming films, Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Fanboys.
