Apparently GI Joe has started filming, but I really don't know if thats true. A comment by Hasbro made on Yahoo News says that it has started.

Two Hasbro-related live-action movies are scheduled to be released in 2009 — Transformers 2 and G.I. Joe, based on the Hasbro action figure starts shooting Monday, Verrecchia said. Despite a Hollywood writers strike, there were no delays in the movies' production schedules, he said.

There you have it... I guess it started shooting.  Transformers won't be ready to go for another couple of months.  I know they still need a script.  GI Joe on the other hand has been worked on for the entire WGA strike, pre production wise at least.  Plus there has been many casting moves.

Now this is the thing...  I know I bearly kept anyone up to date on GI Joe, and its for a simple reason.  I DON'T CARE.  A lot of the news on this film hasn't been good or exciting enough to up my anticipation.  I fear this movie, and predict that its going to be total crap... Hopefully I'll eat my words when premiere time comes, but I'm betting money I won't.  That said, if you want to see a list on a cast that sucks, you can basically find it any place.
