This is really a shitty way to start off the week.  Sad news t0day.... Roy Scheider died on Sunday at the age of 75.

 The two time oscar nominee died at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.

As of now, the cause of death hasn't been released. In 2004 Scheider was diagnosed with myeloma.  He's spent the last 2 years being treated, but its likely that was the cause of death.  Don't quote me on that... I'm not his doctor. 

Roy Scheider has starred in some of my most enjoyable genre films.  Jaws, Jaws 2, 2010: The Year We Make Contact, Blue Thunder, and of course Seaquest DSV.  I've enjoyed his work thoroughly over the years, and I'm very sad that he's passed on.

Of couse I'm sorry for the family for this loss, but I'm sure those who've enjoyed his work as much as I have, will support them like I will.

On another note, my older brother Frank likes it when I mention him, and lucky him, I'm going to mention him again.  I can honestly say that it was my brother that introduced me to Roy Scheider with Jaws & 2010, and funny enough, 2010 scares him more then Jaws, and I can't figure out why, lol.
