I have just started watching season four on DVD and have to say that I loved the first episode and all the changes they are doing to the show. It was a bit confusing at first having the flash forwards and not flashbacks, but I really like it. I agree about what you said about Matthew Fox. He does such a good job as Jack and I love his “I am not a hero or the boss” attitude. He really is the hero a lot of the time, but he is so humble about it.

Good review, however, I think Hurley has a much bigger role in the show than you give him credit for. Using him to open S4 was perfect to get that ball (the truth) finally rolling.

Not to mention the other thing: Jack’s father = Jacob. Your thoughts?

Good review Phil….I personally enjoyed the season 4 start. Of course their are still not many answer, as usual, they give you a little tease, but thats what episodic TV is all about, so I’ll just the follow the season.
