More New Terminator Salvation Plot Details

Nothing we really haven't heard.  Scifi Wire got to talk with Terminator producer James Middleton who says this about Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins.

"It's set after the events of [Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines], where we see the nuclear exchange at the end of the movie, and we show what the world is like after this event, and we show how people try to deal in a post-apocalyptic world," Middleton added. "And we introduce a new character, who becomes very important to the resistance and to John Connor, a new hero. It's really about the birth of a new hero."As for John Connor, who was played in T3 by Nick Stahl: "I would look at him as a character that is introduced and that will grow in the second and third movies of the trilogy," Middleton said.

Middleton also confirmed the casting of Batman Begins star Christian Bale in the film. It's been reported that he will take on the role of John Connor.

Like I've said in the past, making someone else other then John Connor the HERO of the film is so retarded It makes me sick to my stomach.  I feel like they've hired Christian Bale, just to waste his talent.

I'm very sckeptical about this movie, and I really don't like any of the production team, from producers to director.  This movie is going to be terrible, mark my words.
