Today, we start with an Ironman and Incredible Hulk tie-in, then we move on to the new Bond girl, then whats going on in the war of HD and Blue Ray, and a couple production stills and promos of Hayden Panettiere from Heroes.

Ironman & The Incredible Hulk Movie Tie In

For a while now, we've been hearing rumors that to big budget comic book films would possibly tie in with eachother.  Now we have news that its going to be happing.  As it says in the quote, it looks like we are seeing the begining of an Avengers film.  The spys of AICN gives us this:

So the scene that was shot was for the Hulk with General Thunderbolt who is very important to the Hulk. Anyway, Tony Stark meets with him - which of course is a straight prelude to the Avengers Movie.

For now, maybe my code name should be Forty One Q

Jon Favreau, director of Ironman, has stated that he would love to direct an Avengers movie, and the way Ironman is looking, he'd probably do a wonderful job.  Also, In Ironman, Samual L. Jackson is playing the role of Nick Fury.  Nick Fury apparently is going to make an appearence in both Ironman and The Hulk.  All that, and in the future, we have a Thor film on the way.

Now this is how you set up a team up movie.  Not like how WB is doing it with Justice Teens.  These guys are really making the right move, and the way both films look right now, the money is gonna be rolling and fans are gonna go crazy and the delightful comic adventure headed our way.  I'm pumped for it all.

New Bond Girl Casted

Bond 22

I'll be honest.  I don't have a clue who she is, but shes damn FINE!! The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that British actress, Gemma Arterton has gotten the role of the lucky Bond girl in the next spy adventure.  James Bond 22, as it is unnamed, is currently filming.

As for right now, no details are available on Arterton's character.  All in all, who cares, shes smoking, and thats all a Bond film needs, along with kick ass action and spy shit.

Bond 22 continues right after where we left off in Casino Royal and its set to be released November 7th.

This movie is going to kick serious ass!!

Blue-Ray Vs. HD

Blue-Ray may have nailed a death blow in the war agains HD-DVD.  Warner Bros has joined 20th Fox, Walt Disney & Liongate studios in releasing there films exclusively on Blue-ray disc.

From Moviehole.net

"Warner Bros.' move to exclusively release in the Blu-ray disc format is a strategic decision focused on the long term and the most direct way to give consumers what they want," said Meyer. "The window of opportunity for high-definition DVD could be missed if format confusion continues to linger. We believe that exclusively distributing in Blu-ray will further the potential for mass market success and ultimately benefit retailers, producers, and most importantly, consumers."...........
"A two-format landscape has led to consumer confusion and indifference toward high definition, which has kept the technology from reaching mass adoption and becoming the important revenue stream that it can be for the industry," said Tsujihara. "Consumers have clearly chosen Blu-ray, and we believe that recognizing this preference is the right step in making this great home entertainment experience accessible to the widest possible audience. Warner Bros. has worked very closely with the Toshiba Corporation in promoting high definition media and we have enormous respect for their efforts. We look forward to working with them on other projects in the future."

That now leaves Paramount and Universal alone in the HD world.

As far as I'm concerned, I don't give a rats ass about either of them.  I'm just a standard DVD kind of guy and I love my collection of DVDs and I don't want to buy a whole new set of DVDs.  Its as simple as that for me.  Thats it.
