Another new film starring Nic Cage is set to be produced called 'Knowing', with Alex Proyas (I, Robot)  directing.  Summit Entertainment will finance and distribute the film, which goes before camera's March 17th in Melbourne.  This comes from Vareity:

Cage will play a teacher who examines the contents of a time capsule unearthed at his son's elementary school. Startling predictions in the time capsule that have already come true lead him to believe the world is going to end at the close of the week and that he and his son are somehow involved in the destruction.

This sounds like another fun picture that Cage has done so many times.  I like Nic Cage a lot.  He's always brings a lot of fun and humor to the films that he does, and this will probably be no different.  I like the sound of the plot synopsis, simply because i'm a scifi whore.  Theres just no way around it.  World Ending adventures and thrillers always work with me, or at least most of the time.  I'm sure this picture is not going to be anything special, but I have no doubt that it'll be enjoyable.
