Star Trek XI: Enterprise Rumors
IESB.net is once again at the head of the rumors and news, when it comes to JJ Abrams Star Trek. IESB was again contacted by once of there spy's and have recieved info on the appearence of the Enterprise also a little news on whats going on at the Vasquez Rocks, the place where Kirk took on the Gorn.
On the Enterprise:
The basic shape, we're told, is pretty much the same as the good old NCC-1701 (no bloody A, B, C or D or E, for that matter) that we're all familiar with. The big difference is that it's been given a new, grittier metal texture
We all knew to begin with that the original Enterprise wasn't going to be the same as it was in TOS. Most of us feared, however, how it was going to turn out. If this report is true, I'm thrilled that they'll be keeping the essence of the immortalized starship. I never expected it to be the same, so i'm happy with this news. Well….I think we should keep in mind that the orignal NCC 1701 was born in 1966 when it first hit TV, so I think a little modernizing the ship would be a good idea….keep the essence like Phil said but it should be updated to reflect the times of the latest CGI
