As a big fan of some of the award shows during the year and a fan of the red capet shows and so forth, the numbers for the entires  of  considerations, for the Golden Globes, have hit the net.  There are no names of movies and so on given, just the numbers.  This comes from Variety.

The qualifying entries for the 2008 Golden Globe Awards include 194 live-action features, 16 animated features, 124 television series, 37 miniseries and 61 foreign-language films. Eighty-three songs are eligible for the Golden Globe for original song.

The nominees will be announced on Dec. 13, with the awards ceremony set to take place Jan. 13 at the Beverly Hilton.

Yes, I am a big fan of certain award shows.  The Emmy's, People Choice, Golden Globes, The Oscars of course....  I love watching the red carpent and after party shows, on the E! network... with Giuliana Rancic and the other hosts.  So if your a fan of them too, I'll see you there.
