Star Trek XI: Kirks Father & Carol Marcus

IESB.net is confirming that both Jennifer Morrison and Chris Hemsworth are indeed cast in the new Trek film. Chris Hemsworth has been cast as George Samuel Kirk Sr.
The IESB has received confirmation from Chris Hemsworth's reps, yes he is in fact cast in Star Trek HOWEVER he is NOT SPOCKS DAD. Chris Hemsworth will be playing KIRK's father. So we were right on the father part just not whose! Hemsworth will be playing the part of George Samuel Kirk Sr. Apparently, when Chris read for the part, the filmmakers, including JJ Abrams, were so blown away by him that he was offered the role on the spot.
If you looked at the spy photos posted the day before you would have noticed a blond haired women wearing a blue coat.
This is and its confirmed that Jennifer Morrison does have sometype of role in Star Trek, though no role is specified. Even so, IESB has there own speculation, and they thing its Carol Marcus. Mother to Kirks child, David.
Today we received confirmation from her management company that she has indeed been cast, however, they would not offer up which character she will be playing.
This is mere speculation, but after some research I don’t think that she will be playing Janice Rand. Instead, she may be a certain young civilian biologist by the name of Carol Marcus, yes, the mother of Kirk’s son, David Marcus. We were able to get confirmation that Carol Marcus appears in the script.

To be honest I don't know any of the these actors in any great deal, but I guess i'm ok with there casting. Jennifer Morrison is a good looking women and she'll be nice to look at.
Chris Hemsworth is, I think, just a little to young to play Kirks father. Like Winona Ryder, I'm assuming he must be involved in a flashback sequence or an earlier time scene when Kirk was a young child.
Like usual, I say, I hope this movie isn't a bag of crap. Good Luck Abrams.
