Knight Rider Returns

This actually suprised me.  I've known that a Knight Rider was trying to get off the ground but I never thought it would get this far.  The Hollywood Reporter gives us this on the Son of Michael Knight.....wow, I never thought I'd ever write those words.

"All My Children" hunk Justin Bruening is set as the lead in NBC's two-hour backdoor pilot "Knight Rider," a "Transformers"-inspired sequel to the 1980s series, which is slated to air as a movie later in the season.

Every one loves the old Knight Rider TV show.  This news is actually getting me a little excited, i'd have to admit.  I'm up for this, and I hope it happens.  At least its going to be more of a continuation then ANOTHER remake.  Even though a remake would be the end of the world, i'm actually glad its a continuation.

Also, it would make sense to me that the Hoff, David Hasselhoff, would make sometype of cameo in the pilot.  I honestly don't know if thats even on the table, but him being there would make sense.  All that said, I do know by now, that in Hollywood, what makes sense... never happens.
