Angels & Demons For Febuary Shoot

I know that there are lots of people out there that have in fact not like The Da Vinci Code, plus there are loads of people out there that did like it.  I'm one of those people that like Da Vinci a lot.  Tom Hanks is also my favorite actor, so of course that helps with the experience.

Variety has reported that Angels & Demons will begin shooting in Febuary with Ron Howard at the helm, for a December 19th, 2008 release.  Tom Hanks will be reprising his role as Robert Langdon.

If this can get done before the dreaded strike, i'll be thrilled, because, I've read Angels & Demons and it really is a great book.  I also know that the movie WILL be different then the book, but that doesn't mean that the movie will turn out bad.  So I'm very excited to see the sequel.

The only thought that comes to mind though... Will this movie hurt Star Trek or visa versa.  Star Trek is release only 5 days after The Da Vinci code sequel.

I for one greatly enjoyed The Da Vinci Code. I find Tom Hanks to be an actor in the caliber of a Robert DiNero, James Cagney, and others. Tom Hanks knows exactly how to bring the character he portrays to life. I have not read the book, but would like to. I eagarly await Angels & Demons to be made and released.
